Let's face it: skiing on-piste often means crowded slopes, suicidal speeding, loud music and moguls or hard frozen slopes. The mountains are actually only a backdrop. Whoever is tired of this show should simply try: skinning uphill.
Skitouring enables us to access places in the mountains that no one would ever visit in summer. We are not restricted to trails, we choose the route ourselves. There is something creative to drawing a track in flawlessly snow-covered slopes. But the best part is that the fun really starts after the summit: if we have chosen the right exposure, the right time, knee-deep powder or butter-soft corn snow and this incredible flow experience is waiting for us.
